McKeon Park Capital Improvements Project — HOW YOU CAN HELP!
Click to donate now
The Hyannis Athletic Association (HAA) is a non-profit all-volunteer community-based organization that contributed thousands of hours each year to bringing the very best collegiate players to Hyannis in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
McKeon Park has undergone some dramatic improvements in the past few years with your continuing support:
New bleachers and a new batting tunnel
New bricked dugouts and backstop
Improvements to the park entrance
An upgraded public address system
In addition, in 2008 we accomplished a long-standing objective of installing new lighting in the park, making night baseball a reality for our franchise. Our final two projects for 2009 are a new scoreboard and renovations to the existing press box to facilitate food and merchandise sales along with improved Internet streaming capacity and VIP seating arrangements.
The Hyannis Athletic Association has a long history of community partnerships
with local business and government to leverage grant funds, contributions and in-kind donations of labor and material. All funds raised (100%)
go to support our operating budget and capital improvement projects.
Mckeon Park is used by many organizations and individuals including
the H.A.A., Pope John Paul II High School, Saint Francis Xavier
Preparatory School, Sturgis Charter High School, Barnstable American
Legion Post 206, and many other groups.
